Note: Stamping die: also known as punching die. In the cold stamping process, the stamping die processes the material to obtain the process equipment of the part.

Casting mold means that in order to obtain the structural shape of the part, the structural shape of the part is made in advance with other easily formed materials, and then the mold is placed in the sand mold, so that a cavity with the same structural size as the part is formed in the sand mold. Then pour a fluid liquid into the cavity. After the liquid is cooled and solidified, a part with exactly the same shape and structure as the mold can be formed.

So what are the types of casting molds?

1. Stamping die: also known as punching die. In the cold stamping process, the stamping die processes the material to obtain the process equipment of the part. This type of die mainly includes punching die, bending die, drawing die, single-process die, compound die, progressive die, and automotive panel die, combination die, motor silicon steel sheet die.

2. Plastic molding die: Due to the wide application of plastic in daily life, plastic molding is also a very common processing material in the industrial field. Therefore, in order to process plastics, there are plastic molding molds in the mold: compression molds, extrusion molds, injection molds, thermosetting plastic injection molds, extrusion molds, foam molding molds, low-tool tool bubble injection molding molds, and Blow molding molds are all plastic molding molds.

3. Die casting mold: Casting is one of the more common types of parts in production and processing. The die casting molds mainly include die casting molds for hot chamber die casting machines, horizontal cold chamber die casting machines, and vertical cold chamber die casting machines. Die-casting molds for full vertical die-casting machines, non-ferrous metal die-casting, and ferrous metal die-casting molds.

4. Forging forming dies: Like casting, forging is the most commonly used processing technology for producing parts and components. Forging dies mainly include: die forging and forging dies for large presses, forging dies for screw presses, and forging dies for flat forging machines , Roll forging dies, etc. At the same time, fastener cold heading dies, extrusion dies, drawing dies, liquid forging dies, etc. are also forging dies.

5. metal molds for casting: This type of mold has certain similarities with die-casting molds, but it is more focused on casting, metal models used in the casting of various metal parts.

6. Powder metallurgy mold forming mold: The powder metallurgy mold forming mold is more complicated, mainly including: manual mold, motorized mold, sleeve type one-way and two-way pressure mold, sleeve type floating pressure mold, and plastic mold. Among these types, there are subordinate classifications, among which, for example, manual molds also include: radial shaping molds, full shaping molds with outer step sleeves, and shaping molds with spherical parts.

7. Glass product molds: The molds used for glass products are mainly classified according to the processing form. The former is a bottle forming mold, the latter is a forming bottle mold, a mold for glassware, etc.

8. Rubber molding mold: At this time, the molds for processing rubber mainly include compression molds, extrusion molds, and injection molds.

9. Ceramic molds: forming metal molds for various ceramic utensils and other products.

10. Economic mold (simple mold): This is also a processing mold commonly used by some small businesses. Because of its economy, it is very popular. This type of mold mainly includes: low melting point alloy forming mold, sheet die, laminated die, silicone rubber mold, epoxy resin mold, ceramic precision casting mold, etc.

In recent years, the status of the foundry mold industry in the national economic life has been booming, and its status cannot be ignored. At present, the output of my country’s automobile industry has grown substantially for many consecutive years, and it has become the world’s number one production base and market. Among them, cars that are closely related to the casting mold industry have the fastest growth rate. The demand is extremely strong, therefore, as one of the important components of the foundry industry, the foundry mold industry has obtained unprecedented development opportunities.
