Quality Minerals Public Co., Ltd. was established in Thailand on November 9, 1995 to manufacture high quality calcium carbonate of both coated and uncoated grades and plastic compounds. The company registered to become a Public Company on August 20, 2004, with current registered capital of 365.75 million baht, approximately USD 12 million. As a company of steady and sustainable growth, it is continuing to further develop and add higher value to its products.
Its office is located in Bangkok with its plant operating in Lopburi province, about 150 kilometers north of Bangkok. In this region, the main raw material for the production of calcium carbonate, calcite, is abundant and of very high quality. The excellent raw material further contributes to superior quality products. The companyís current capacity for calcium carbonate is 150,000 MT per annum. As calcium carbonate is a very versatile material, it is widely used in many industrial applications such as paint, PVC pipe and cable, plastic packaging, printing and writing paper, and rubber products, among others. |
