On October 1, 2008, Moriroku Group shifted to a holding company structure and changed its corporate name to MORIROKU HOLDINGS COMPANY LTD., and at the same time established new operating companies, MORIROKU CHEMICALS COMPANY LTD. and MORIROKU TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LTD., which would take over the chemical and productive sectors of the company respectively.
In its 350-year history of business enterprise, which began with its foundation in 1663, Moriroku Group is approaching the point where it can make a big leap forward. With this change in organizational structure, we will clearly separate our administrative and business execution functions and fulfill their respective roles and responsibilities to make the next leap forward as a global corporation.
As a holding company, we will enhance our strategic function and improve corporate governance, presenting the strategy as a group. At the same time, we will promote the growth of the whole group, while trying to improve our corporate value. By promoting the active, suggesting style of operations in concert with more than 20 of our group members inside and outside Japan, we will develop closer trust-based relationships with all of our stockholders, create environments in which our staff members work with satisfaction, and continue to make contributions to the global society through the continued growth of our group.
