The business started as a brass manufacturer however it did not stop there. To ensure all fabrication processes and finishes could be produced in house and to secure complete control of the finished product the business grew to accommodate a range of departments. Today Delway consists of steel and brass fabrication departments, a metal polishing shop, a powder coating division and an electroplating plant. This truly makes Delway a one stop shop as a manufacturer and metal finisher with over 31 years of experience.

Delway’s metal polishing workshop restores and polishes all metals such as brass, copper and silver. We can make most metals look like new again by machine polishing and the application of a protective clear coating if required which will inhibit tarnishing. This is especially suitable for door and window furniture, ornamental brass, copper and silverware, church brass, even the kitchen sink.

Delway’s powdercoating workshop offers a complete powdercoating service including pre treatments such as sandblasting. We operate a large capacity oven and offer a wide range of colours. Most metal products than can withstand the high oven temperatures are suitable for powdercoating. Examples of customer supplied products Delway powdercoats are fences, frames, signs, outdoor furniture, playground and gym equipment. We also stock a complete range of powdercoating touch up cans.

Delway’s electroplating workshop delivers high quality finishes such as gold, chrome and copper. Tapware, plumbing and bathroom fittings for example need not be re-purchased as Delway is able to re finish the articles to their original condition or change the finish to suit new décor. Our restoration work has a good reputation amongst car and bike enthusiasts. These customers provide us with some challenging and rewarding work which we take great pride in undertaking. Delway’s fabrication workshops are focused on producing unique, one-off fabricated jobs. Delway specialises in architectural brass and steel works which are in evidence in many hotels, restaurants and offices in Adelaide. Examples of this work are tables, chairs, sign frames, balustrades, handrails and shop fitting frames. We work closely with a select group of interior designers and shop fitters to manufacture both for commercial applications and residential homes. Delway manufactures a proprietary range of quality bathroom fittings as well as custom made shower curtain rails, towel racks and floor grates. These are available through most bathroom, plumbing and restoration stores all over Australia or direct from Delway either at our Edwardstown showroom or online. All products are made from either solid brass and electroplated in our automated plating plant or from stainless steel finished in our metal polishing shop.

The flexible and versatile bathroom ranges are available in a range of finishes to suit the bathroom decor. Choices of finishes are polished brass, chrome, antique brass, gold or powder coated colours. A mix and match combination of these finishes is also available. Delway offers special custom made items. Most standard products can be made to specific customer requirements e.g. special sizes, extra rails or certain colours. Delway fittings require no special cleaning or attention. Polished brass is powder coated with a clear finish. It is enough to dust the fittings. No Brasso or harsh abrasives should be used. Our fittings are easy to install. All fixing requirements are supplied. Our goods are packaged to prevent damage in transit.

Delway also manufactures a range of firescreens which are available either standard sizes or custom made. We are known for the manufacture of high quality child safety screens.
