Tensile Rubber (Pty) Ltd was originally
started in 1966 as a subsidiary of the French company Paulstra and
reconstructed in 1984 as Total Metbond Components. In 1990 the French
involvement was terminated when the company was acquired by Gentyre
Automotive Components (Pty) Ltd.In February 1997 Tensile Rubber acquired
the ongoing operation from Gentyre.Tensile Rubber (Pty) Ltd is an
independent, privately held Holding Company for Tensile Rubber
Extrusions (Pty) Ltd, Tensile Rubber Hoses (Pty) Ltd, Tensile Rubber
Compounds (Pty) Ltd and Precision Rubber Moulders (Pty) Ltd.Our quality
