 American Paper and Provisions was started by Daniel Emrani in 1982. He realized that there was a gap in the foodservice market: a reliable, price-conscious food packaging supplier in the southern California area. From the very beginning, Daniel selected only the most customer biased sales representatives, hiring only those who enjoy serving their clients and have a passion for packaging.
Each new sales representative at American Paper and Provisions undergoes an extensive training process. In that process, they become acquainted with the American Paper and Provisions tradition of flexible, customized service. Additionally, they are thoroughly trained on the automation system that we use today that nets American Paper and Provisions over a 98% Service Level. They learn that the American Paper and Provisions client relationship is based on a partnership of trust and mutual respect; and, that American Paper and Provisions is committed to going the extra mile to meet our customers’ needs. As a result, most clients of American Paper and Provisions have enjoyed a long relationship with us.
