We are proud to now have our commitment to eco-friendly practices recognised by Marks & Spencer through their accreditation of our facility in Homagama as the first eco-factory in its field. Our 8 year journey to this achievement is testament to our passion for sustainable manufacturing. We have consistently focused on reducing energy usage and waste, using renewable resources and always doing better – for our communities and our planet.
Our History
A subsidiary of BAM Holdings (Pvt) Ltd., Thermo Plastics is part of a leading group of companies in Sri Lanka. The group’s operations are vertically integrated, ranging from fabric manufacturing to logistics, include specialization in children’s apparel and clothing manufacture, and have diversified into agriculture, renewable energy and the leisure sector.
The company was born during the boom in Sri Lanka's apparel manufacturing trade, which created opportunity not only for that industry proper, but for those supporting it. Thermo Plastics was established to provide backward integration for BAM Holdings’ operations in apparel manufacture, and has profited from the parent company’s values of reliability, timeliness and quality.
