HISTORY OF ESTABLISHMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
TMB – MINH PHAT Producing Trading Co., Ltd. starting as MINH PHAT family – run workshop, was established in 1991. This preceding workshop supplied:
· Cosmetics, food packaging products
· CD – VCD boxes, hair pins
Head office: 141 – 143 Xom Dat, Ward 8, District 11, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
In 1998, with a view to expanding its business and production operations as well as trademark promotion, the early Minh Phat workshop built a new 10,000 – square – meter factory located in Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh city.
In 2000, from this workshop, TBM – MINH PHAT Producing Trading Co., Ltd. was officially established in accordance with the Business Registration Certificate No. 4102002301 – dated 22/9/2000. It is specialized in:
· Supplying exclusive – trademarked packaging for industrial products
· Delivering precision components for production industry
· Designing and mold making for the plastics industry
The company is capable of supplying customers a comprehensive and closed solution from product designing, designing and mold making, blow and press technology… to delivery.
From 2011 to June, 2012 TBM – MINH PHAT with the help from VCCI and JICA successfully completed the 5S program held at the company, sending its representatives to learn the management program in Japan.
On September 14, 2012 the company, along with the other, was highly – honored chosen by VCCI to share experience “5S and Kaizen” at “ the 5S and Kaizen seminar – Key to success” at the VCCI convention Hall.
In 2012, the company was orientated towards the development in the integration period, when quality plastic packaging products would be in great demand. In order to meet customers’ expected needs. The company invested in a 2,000 – square – meter Clean Room, supplies:
· Precision plastic components for production industry
· Industrial packaging products bearing the exclusive trademark of the company
· Quality medical – purpose packaging
· Consumer goods
In 2012, the company attended the supporting industry exhibition held by Jetro at the Saigon exhibition Center.
In 2012, the company was issued the certificate of “the Supplier of TRUST – QUALITY”. Besides, experts in auto plastic products from some big Japanese groups have trained our technical personnel at the company in the following programs:
· Injection – press technique
· Production management based – on Kaizen
· Error analysis in steps
· Product measurement technique, CPK analysis and reporting.
The company was issued the certificate QMS 9001:2008.
And again, in 2013, the company attended the supporting industry show held by Jetrol at the Saigon exhibition Center.
2.3 DEVELOPMENT PERSPECTIVE
In the coming years, the company will sustain its growth rate and secure its standing in business activities. It will also develop programs on management software, produce effectively, approach the world trade channels, maximize the exploitation of new markets for a benefit and revenues increase.
