PALFORM® is the registered trademark of the pal plast GmbH for the semi-crystalline, thermoplastic material POM, which we manufacture as homopolyer and copolymer.

1985

Founded by Josef Wirnik in Mühlheim am Main. On the area of the former Stahl Schanz in the Carl-Zeiss-Straße 3 a rented warehouse was the starting point of the business activities. At that time the focus was the regrinding of engineering plastics.

1998

Relocation into the premises in the Lämmerspiler Straße 8.

1999

Registration of the trade names due to the projected production of compounds and recompounds.

2000

Acquisition of the first compounding unit, capacity of approximately 2.000 to/year.

2001

A second compound line was installed. Capacity expansion up to approximately 6.000 to/year. Additionally the quality testing lab was installed.

2004

Replacement of the first compounder. Since that time the are regular investments in the machinery equipment. Annual capacity of approximately 8.000 to/year.

2008

Expansion of Lab-testing equipment and replacement of all lab instruments.

2013

Establishment of a central ware house.

2014

Start of construction of “Werk 2” in Mühlheim am Main. Projected annual capacity of 15.000 to/year.
