Pro-Mold introduces its first product; The Mini-Snap. This product would later be patented under U.S. patent number 5,224,600. The idea behind this holder was to allow collectors to protect and store the "big money cards" in a set in a standard set storage box along with the rest of the lesser value, common cards in the set. This was the first "hard plastic" holder to fit in the standard set storage box.
