Carris Reels has a workforce of more than 750 employees. Carris Reels is a manufacturer of quality reels of plywood, wood/metal, softwood, hardboard, nailed wood, tin and plastic for the wire and cable industries. Carris has a network of reel return depots and recycling centers where used reels are received and graded. The reusable reels are repaired, painted as required and the bolts are tightened. Depots are located in Enfield, Conn., Statesville, N.C., and Madera, Calif. Henry Carris founded the company in 1951
