Whitfield welding inc. was established in 1985. Whitfield Welding provides various services to the mould and tool and die manufacturers from across Canada and the midwestern United states. These services include 'A Class' surface welding of Moulds and dies, micro welding, welding using as small as .005 wire, stress relief and tempering of all tool steels, flame hardening and glass bead blasting.
Our facilities and equipment are located in the heart of the Canadian mould making community. These include, a 12,000 sq. ft building, specifically designed for the services provided, 25 metric ton material handling equipment, 5 furnaces from large car bottom 80,000 lb capacity, to small accurate tempering furnaces for the small work. Whitfield welding inc. offers material identification with arc and spark spectrometer equipment as well as hardness verifications of all work put through the heat treat equipment.
