Medical Polymers was founded in 1986 to provide injection-molding services to the medical device industry. The company has expanded from specialized medical molding and insert molding to include catheter manufacturing and medical device manufacturing. Medical Polymers takes projects from a simple idea thru the design, development and production phase. Its services include catheter tipping, catheter hole punching, catheter butt-welding, catheter printing and the attachments of soft-tips to braided catheters. Ultrasonic welding and RF welding of medical devices and cleanroom assembly all are within manufacturing capabilities. Headquartered in Spencer, Ind., the company is privately owned and employs nearly 30 people.
