KYMDAN company has been privatized since early 1999. Shareholder capital investment started in early 2000, followed by the construction of KYMDAN's new production plant (from factory to equipment), on 40,000 m² ground in Cu Chi's North West Industrial Zone. The factory has been equipped with modern machinery, including automated production that eliminates the need for manual labour and entered into production by the end of the year 2000. A source of pride for KYMDAN is our production technology for natural latex mattresses currently being used at KYMDAN factories. Which has been studied and developed exclusively by KYMDAN and different to production technology used by other factories in the latex industry in Vietnam and the world. Moreover, to accommodate for this unique production technology, all equipment, production lines and mechanization have been researched and developed solely by KYMDAN. Thanks to our production technology, KYMDAN has successfully competed with other mattress brands in the market. In 2001, KYMDAN continued to expand our existing factory by adding 20,000 m² of production capacity. In early 2007, the factory added another 50,000 m² to meet growing demands for KYMDAN products in domestic and foreign markets for the near future (See growth chart). Due to such expansions, the factory area now totals 108,163 m².
