AMT Canada is a family owned company that was founded (April of 2000) by its current president Norman Roy and his lovely wife Nathalie Lavoie. Having worked most of his life in this industry, Norman has more than one trick up his sleeve to get things done.
In the beginning, AMT specialized in custom molding of complex and critically dimensional parts made of engineering and exotic resins. Then in 2002 we started supplying automotive companies with ten day lead times for producing complex geometry thermoplastic parts. We had mastered the hi temperature epoxy casting molds, even with several undercuts. We were able to make (very low volume) thermoplastic parts with the actual resin that was to be used in production.
Today, we no longer cast our molds... we cut them with high-speed CNC machines.
We have always gone out of our way to make parts that no one else would even attempt to make.
